About Me

Keaton Grant

Product acquisition, Amazon FBA, and crypto.

I have spent ten years getting good at one thing: finding products worth buying and knowing what they are actually worth. Sourcing, negotiating, and reading demand before it shows up in the numbers. Everything else I do sits on top of that.

On Amazon that means FBA, where I source inventory, run listings, and handle the volume side of selling. Crypto is the same instinct pointed at a faster market. Both come down to the same question: what is this worth, and what will someone pay for it later?

What I Do

Product Acquisition

The core skill, and the one everything else runs on. Finding what is underpriced, buying it right, and knowing what it will move for.

Amazon FBA

Sourcing inventory from big box retailers, running listings, and handling the logistics of selling at volume through Fulfillment by Amazon.

Crypto

The same read on value and timing, applied to a market that moves a lot faster.

Building

I build the sites and tools I use to run all of this. No CS degree and no formal training. I learned by needing something to exist and then making it exist. This site is one of them.

Two Students Register A Domain Name

Two graduate students at Stanford registered a domain name today. The search engine behind it has been running on borrowed university hardware under the name BackRub. The new name is a misspelling of googol, the number written as a one followed by a hundred zeros, chosen to suggest how much of the web they intend to index.

Nothing was announced. Most people find things online through directories assembled by hand, or through search tools that rank a page by how many times a word appears on it. The idea here is different: rank a page by how many other pages point to it, and weigh each of those by how many point to them. There is no company yet. There will not be one for another year.
